It’s fraudulent @Sheik
It’s obviously not dangerous for you to say that, but prominent people in the spotlight are saying that, and that’s not good for anybody.

This is far from settled, but it needs to be handled in a responsible manner.

Nevada, where Biden leads by 7k votes, now also announces that it will not release any vote updates till Thursday, as they are counting Mail Ins still.

I was wondering why the numbers weren't changing there on the election map I am watching.

PA and Nevada could still get it done for Trump, but I just can't bring myself to believe he will win Nevada.

Why? It's the closest of all of them.

It's historically anti-R in the modern era, including 2016. Don't see how I should expect that to flip at this point with the remaining votes to be counted there.

Only reason is because they are terrified of shutdowns

And like I said, it might end up being better this way.

Trump is only going to racchet up the discontent if he got 4 more years, but what else is there for him to accomplish? He's filled substantial court seats. He passed tax reform. He cut regulation. He essentially ended Obamacare. He has no more signature legislation on the horizon given that the Democrats hold the house.

And now that the Senate will stay Republican, there is no real fear that Biden can pack the courts with extra seats or add more states (at least for 2 years - and frankly probably not then either because the passion for that fight will be gone after 2 years of sleepy Joe at the wheel).

And a Trump loss in 2020 makes a Republican win in 2024 way more likely. It's simply very difficult to get a third term in a row. Now the Republicans won't need to accomplish that mega-feat. They will instead need to beat a very beatable incumbent in 2024. Which is the next time period when it appears there may be truly important matters on the docket (like perhaps the replacement of Clarence Thomas, who probably lasts 4 more years but I don't know about 8 more).
Wow, where to start?

What is there left to accomplish? How about appointing more reasonable judges who don't use their seat as a platform to enforce their own views?

All that regulation he cut? It's coming right back. And shitty Obamacare isn't going anywhere.

Also, how in the world does a Trump loss make a win in 2024 more likely? The incumbent usually wins... unless an economy-wrecking virus hits at exactly the wrong time.

How about any hope of putting some check on these propagandist tech companies? That's gone now, too.

Hopefully you were just trying to be optimistic there.

Yeah it's going to be a rough 4 years. I expect most people are going to feel thebhit of the economy tanking

Arizona was a killer. GOP lost a Senate seat and Trump lost to Biden. The effect of Californians moving there (and bringing their politics with them) and mass immigration is real.

Exactly. You hear a lot about people leaving the state for political/social reasons... I suspect Arizona has a lot of ex-Californians who moved there not because they were unhappy, but because they simply couldn't afford Cali anymore.

The Wall, birthright citizenship, e-verify, the end of chain migration, more conservative judges at all levels, more trade deals that benefit the US, more deregulation, more purging of the Deep State (esp at intelligence agencies), more lawsuits against colleges that discriminate based on race, pulling troops out of Europe and South Korea, etc.

its a wrap, only path I see is if Trump miraculously gets Nevada and Michigan and it sounds like the remaining uncounted votes are mail in or heavily democratic districts

I do NOT want this going to the courts

at least the Trump derangement will die down and in no time out all, he wont be mentioned anymore
