If he plays, I bet he's on a very limited pitch count. Like 10-15 plays.

Hopefully he's not letting stick figure Smith block him up all night.

Be shocked if he lasted the year. CB coming off two major knee injuries. Be shocked if he was worth a fuck too.
He's playing for his salary so we'll see, someone else would surely pick him up next year (maybe even Green Bay) but he won't be getting a deal as high as what he has here.

That might be enough to get a decent year or two out of him.

Who knows if he's truly 100% healthy though.

Yeah, Diggs is playing for his next contract with another team or the chance to earn the next year on his current deal. I think he is going to play with a chip on his shoulder and something to prove. The problem is if he rushes things, he is liable to get hurt again and that all goes away.

Listened to several interviews yesterday and noticed how often the players mentioned Turp as the #3 WR. Only one guy, Pickens, gave even a quick mention to "JT" at the very end.

I guess he really is going to get a lot of snaps there now. I don't see how he can hold up at that size playing too much, so it'll be interesting to see how often they can put him out there.

I mean slot receivers are generally small. Not sure how many are legit 153 pounds small. Tank Dell might be the most comparable in terms of size? But yeah, this feels like the first year the Cowboys are really committed to making him a WR and not just a specialty weapon who is a return man. I guess we will see how it works out. My guess is the Cowboys are going to go more 2 TE and 2 WR this year and not run as many 3 WR sets.

I hope so, I've wanted that a while now. But Dak has loved his spread formations. So I guess we'll see.

I noticed that too, I think he's going to out snap Tolbert, especially given the gadget play stuff he brings.

Yeah I've kind of been the opposite. I prefer to force the defense to spread out and go small. I actually think that's more helpful to run the ball than to go 2 TE's and have the defense out there with the box packed and bigger boys on the field. And obviously for passing purposes I think having more speed and catching ability out there beats the extra TE.

But my vote doesn't count. And I think Dallas is going to go with more big packages.
