I'm not actively rooting for losses yet but I'm not not rooting for losses.

Gotta see if any of these college QB's are actually legit or not first.

Well with two firsts in the next couple years, I may just focus more on watching college football now. I doubt the Cowboys are fun at all to watch. Unless EZ makes a run at defensive rookie of the year I don't think the Cowboys will be fun at all to watch.

If our OL doesn't suck I think we could be entertaining with Lamb/Pickens and a defense that will surely be flying around.

But yea, let's just say I'm going to be watching Texas/OSU (Manning) and LSU/Clemson (Klubnik/Nussmeier) closely this weekend.

We're an early Dak injury away from being in position to get one of these guys with our own 2026 pick.

That being said, I don't think these fucktards take a QB with a first unless Dak's injury would be career threatening.

If he misses a significant portion of the season for the second year in a row I think they just might do it.

It's impossible to say, but Peter Woods is going to be a Jalen Carter-level prospect, so there's that also.

I'm not telling anyone how to fan, but what if Micah had sprained an ankle or blown out a knee and couldn't play? Would people still not watch then?

Said it before, but the older I get the less I'm about the individual superstars and the more I'm about watching how much coaching can get out of the players they have. So I'm curious to see what Klayton Adams and Eberflus can do. I don't think we were going deep even with Micah.

It's not so much about the individual players like in this case Parsons, but moreso that's it's becoming increasingly difficult to stomach how this team is run.

I was always going to watch this game against the eagles with one foot out the door since I can't stand to watch the eagles win and specifically to beat us, as I suspect will happen this game (and probably will be all but decided relatively early).

Yeah it's not really that. Had we gotten 3 first rounds from the Packers, or 2 first from a worse team I'd probably be happy or even excited. It's the shitty return ultimately that bothers me. Yeah I hate losing Parsons. But sometimes you make tough decisions for the greater long term good. The problem is when the compensation isn't good, you just set your team back with no long term plan of success. The NFL is in my opinion about going all in or building for the future. But we refuse to really fully do either well. We just sort of try to sit in the murky middle. And getting a couple picks in the late 20's feels like exactly that. Just enough to keep our roster in that close to playoffs but no cigar area.

In terms of what I think this game will be is us slamming the run and hope it loosens up the Eagles secondary, which is not exactly fearsome. It is a punch them in the mouth game. The question is what happens when they punch back.
