I think they care, they're just at the point they know they are severely handicapped with this HC and staff. There's been several football analysts this week really trashing out the defensive scheme and how pathetically plain it is every week and essentially every series. The offense has definitely regressed the past 3 games from the first 3 games, and of course there's speculation it's because of the idiot HC getting more involved on that side of the ball.
It's a fucking dumpster fire.

This isn’t how a battle for first place is supposed to look. This one’s more about which team still has enough weapons to take advantage of opponents’ weaknesses. This might be the first time Zeke struggles to be a difference-maker against Philly while I think Carson Wentz has enough firepower at his disposal to do what Sam Darnold did a week ago at MetLife. While Dak Prescott is set to have a big day, the Eagles allow 280.2 pass yards per game, the Cowboys offense hasn’t put together a cohesive offensive performance in weeks. If they don’t beat the Eagles after sweeping them last year, then we have to ask if whatever’s the matter with this team can be fixed. Injuries have been a problem, but that’s the NFL.
