From the get go of the Jets game, they looked like they didn't even want to be there. Like they didn't care either way about the final outcome.
I think they care, they're just at the point they know they are severely handicapped with this HC and staff. There's been several football analysts this week really trashing out the defensive scheme and how pathetically plain it is every week and essentially every series. The offense has definitely regressed the past 3 games from the first 3 games, and of course there's speculation it's because of the idiot HC getting more involved on that side of the ball.

It's a fucking dumpster fire.

This isn’t how a battle for first place is supposed to look. This one’s more about which team still has enough weapons to take advantage of opponents’ weaknesses. This might be the first time Zeke struggles to be a difference-maker against Philly while I think Carson Wentz has enough firepower at his disposal to do what Sam Darnold did a week ago at MetLife. Two incredibly imperfect NFC East teams will play Sunday and one of them will leave with a leg up in the division. While Dak Prescott is set to have a big day, the Eagles allow 280.2 pass yards per game, the Cowboys offense hasn’t put together a cohesive offensive performance in weeks. There is no reason to believe those problems will disappear against an opponent who knows them well, especially without a fully healthy Amari Cooper. Eagles 31, Cowboys 24

This isn’t a must win for Dallas. Those don’t happen in Week 7. But it’s a crossroads game. A win will nudge the Cowboys down a much more favorable path. A loss will saddle the Cowboys with a four-game losing streak and a bye week to let their doubts and frustration fester. Dallas has been at its best in division games in recent years. But something about this team feels different. Eagles 27, Cowboys 23

Both teams need this win in the worst way, but a late Cowboys touchdown puts them over the top of their division foes. The Cowboys -- through moving the pocket, play-action and quick passing -- slow down the Eagles’ pass rush just enough to take advantage of their soft pass defense. Dak Prescott outduels Carson Wentz and leads the Cowboys to a game-winning score late in the fourth quarter. Cowboys 27, Eagles 23

Kevin Sherrington

A reader asked why we keep picking the Cowboys to win, and I gave him a very logical answer. Good question, though. If they don’t beat the Eagles after sweeping them last year, then we have to ask if whatever’s the matter with this team can be fixed. Injuries have been a problem, but that’s the NFL. We’ll try this one more time. Cowboys 24, Eagles 20

The losing streak ends. The Cowboys’ health is a question this week, and the bye week should help several players feel better. It won’t be easy but this is one of those games where Dak Prescott takes over. This game is billed as Prescott vs. Wentz. In some ways it doesn’t matter which quarterback is better at this stage of the season, both need to take over for their teams to win. Expect Prescott to get at least 300-plus yards passing and maybe even run for a touchdown. Cowboys 28, Eagles 21

Michael Gehlken

Wide receiver Amari Cooper’s health is the deciding factor here, given his significance to the Cowboys’ offense. He had 226 receiving yards in his last full game and 217 in his last matchup with Philadelphia. But the quad issue clouds his ability to be available for four quarters, if active at all. In light of his questionable status and that of offensive tackles Tyron Smith and La’el Collins, the Eagles carry a slight edge. Eagles 27, Cowboys 24
