I hate that the Cowboys were flexed into the SNF slot. I was hoping Bears-Packers would get the nod so that we could get our ass whipping out of the way early.

The Cowboys - the most watched team in the NFL, America's Team, most loved and most hated, most talked about - with the added drama of win and your in, lose and your out scenario, plus the can't-look-away-at-the-car-accident scenario where the Cowboys might lose for the third year in a row. No way this wouldn't be the flex game once it was assured to be the division title game.

I'd guess that a smart organization in this situation would be trying very hard to send out the message that the HC is back no matter what just do everyone stays motivated.

But Jerry has the built in excuse without Romo, and he clearly wants to keep Garrett, so I wouldn't be surprised at all if we keep Garrett no matter what.
