Brandt's best left:

1. Tom Savage, QB, Pittsburgh
Hot 100 rank: 42
Savage (6-foot-3 7/8, 228 pounds) is a good leader and throws a lot like Troy Aikman. He has a very strong arm and will put it where the receiver can catch it. If he had played four years at one school, he might have been projected to go in the top half of the first round.

2. Cameron Fleming, OT, Stanford
Hot 100 rank: 49
Fleming (6-foot-4 7/8, 323 pounds) is a right tackle and a very good run blocker. He left school one year early, but started for three years. I think he will play this position for a lot of years. He needs to improve as a pass blocker, and I believe he will.

3. AJ McCarron, QB, Alabama
Hot 100 rank: 54
McCarron (6-foot-3 1/4, 220 pounds) led Alabama to two national championships and completed 67 percent of his passes over two years (2012-13) with 58 TDs and 10 interceptions. He's a very smart player with slightly above-average arm strength and ran a hand-timed 4.91-second 40.

4. Keith McGill, CB, Utah
Hot 100 rank: 58
In addition to his height, McGill (6-foot-3 1/8, 213 pounds) has long arms (33 inches) and big hands (10 inches). He had 37 tackles and 12 pass breakups in 2013 and played well at the Senior Bowl. One question for him is why he didn't have more interceptions at Utah (one in two seasons).

5. Carl Bradford, LB, Arizona State
Hot 100 rank: 60
Bradford (6-foot-1 1/8, 251 pounds) had 27 sacks in three years. He can play in space or rush the passer and play the run. His best position is strong-side linebacker. He ran a 4.72-second 40 at his pro day.

6. Cyril Richardson, OL, Baylor
Hot 100 rank: 61
Richardson (6-foot-4 1/4, 333 pounds) has 34 3/8-inch arms and put up 30 bench-press reps at his pro day. He didn't play as well in 2013 as he did the previous season and might have been too heavy at around 345 pounds. A four-year starter, he's a good run blocker and pass protector.

7. Dion Bailey, S, USC (63): 5-foot-11 5/8, 211 pounds, 4.68 40

8. Christian Jones, LB, Florida State (65): 6-foot-3 5/8, 239 pounds, 4.60 40

9. Marcus Roberson, CB, Florida (70): 6-foot 1/4, 191 pounds, 4.59 40

10. Ed Reynolds, S, Stanford (69): 6-foot 7/8, 206 pounds, 4.51 40

» Martavis Bryant, WR, Clemson (75): 6-foot-4, 217 pounds, 4.34 40
» DaQuan Jones, DL, Penn State (81): 6-foot-3 3/4, 322 pounds, 5.28 40
» Andre Williams, RB, Boston College (84): 5-foot-11 1/2, 230 pounds, 4.54 40

» Bruce Ellington, WR, South Carolina (89): 5-foot-9 3/8, 197 pounds, 4.31 40

» Aaron Murray, QB, Georgia (92): 6-foot 1/2, 207 pounds, did not run
» Telvin Smith, LB, Florida State (96): 6-foot-3 1/2, 224 pounds, 4.41 40
» Jackson Jeffcoat, DE, Texas (98): 6-foot-3, 247 pounds, 4.60 40

Carl Bradford is an intriguing player. According to Broaddus we aren't interested though. He keeps pimping Pierre-Louis.

Broaddus' top 5 players to watch today. Since he was so adamant about trading up for Lawrence this time yesterday, I'm convinced his sources are legit.

IRVING, Texas -- Scout’s Eye takes a look at five players to watch on Day 3 of the NFL draft:

Telvin Smith Florida State LB 6-3 218 4.49

Don’t let the weight fool you, this guy plays much better than his size. Can be a physical player when it comes to taking on blocks, shedding and making in the play. In the typical style of the Florida State players on defense, he can really run. Very hard to go wide on him because of the speed he has. Will need some work in coverage aspects but has tools to work with. See as a WILL linebacker in this scheme.

Jeoffrey Pagen Alabama DL 6-3 310 4.82

Really like this guy as a potential three technique despite his size. When this guy is on his game, can be very hard to deal with. Did a very nice job of matching the power of Greg Robinson of Auburn when they got hooked up. Showed the ability to play with a quick arm over move to help him with his pass rush. Was a snap or two where he as a tick late off the ball but would not say that is a huge problem. Hard to block on the move.

Bashaud Breeland Clemson CB 5-11 197 4.61

Played as a press man corner back at Clemson but might be a better fit as a safety. Very good with his hands on the jam. Will not give the receiver much space. Shows the ability to turn and run with his man. Would like to see him get his head around quicker to locate the ball on the fade. Like his ability to project inside and play with range to help there.

Devin Street Pittsburgh WR 6-2 198 4.55

Physically reminds me of Andre Holmes of the Raiders when you study him on tape. Long, rangy build with the ability to make plays. Smooth route runner. Will see him line up in the slot at times which is surprising because I didn’t see the initial quickness for that. Is a long strider that builds speed as he goes. Will catch the ball on all levels and hands appear to be natural.

Kevin Pierre-Lewis Boston College LB 6-0 232 4.51

Shows a real ease of movement. Explosive quickness. Can work through the trash with the best of them. Flow, strike and tackle. Can really find the ball. Is a blur when he plays. Will attack the ball. Can really run, along with Ryan Shazier might be the guy on film that moves the fastest when you study them. Huge fan of this guy.

Like Telvin Smith and Devin Street off that list. I think I'd take Keith McGill over Breeland, maybe Victor Hampton too.

Hope that butt rape thing happened.
No, but he did have some ganj. I didn't partake because I was drinking and the two don't mix well for me, but damn I was tempted.
