Question for the class:

Which candidate still in the hunt do you think would give Trump the closest race?
Is Bloomberg technically in the hunt? He would be the most interesting. Everyone else has some pretty bad flaws that will get them destroyed.

But, how many loonies in this country would vote for Bernie? I think he is the candidate (of the ones that have a chance) that has a decent shot at beating Trump.

I don't see it. I think Trump wins in a landslide against him.

I hope you're right. Bernie Sanders would be a nightmare for this country. You thought Obama's policies were bad... oooooh boy.

Memory serves me that Bloomberg was at one time was a Republican and has jumped rank to the Democratic Party when he thought he could get his foot in the door for the Presidential race. The Democrats probably wont embrace him even if he appears to be a viable prospect. He will be viewed as a claim jumper. He is counting on Sanders being ignored and the others not impressing the Party. He has plenty of wealth and is trying to campaign without debates. If Sanders gets frozen out his supporters probably won’t swith loyalties to anyone in the Democratic Party. The party will probably split and be in shambles by election time so expect the House vultures continue their onslaught of Trump because they do not have a legitimate platform or candidate for the election.

I hadn't thought about Bernie supporters splitting the vote. Now, I'm hoping that someone other than Sanders gets the nod.

I don't think Bernie would stand a chance. He is too far Left. The moderates would come running to Trump. The only hope for Bernie is that every American who receives public assistants comes out and votes for him. He may have a chance because he would make many of their lives better. But it would be at an extreme cost to the rest of the country. The taxes would kill the economy and everyone with a retirement fund. And then he would have problems financing all the free shit because suddenly tax dollars will be hit. Just bad all around for everyone in the end. But the people who see free shit coming will vote for him. Just not sure that demographic has a great voter turnout. And a lot of people who get government assistants don't view themselves that way. A lot of those people still cling to the American dream that they can climb out of that whole Bernie ruins that American dream by crushing the success stories.

I don't think Bloomberg will get the nomination but saying if he did he may have the best chance. Liberals will view him as their best option. And those on the right may jump ship that don't like Trump but will vote for him over a crazy like Bernie.

He might have the best chance to win if liberal democrats were the ones not voting.

These idiots will offer up Sanders or something and it will be a Mondale-like landslide.

Yeah, Bloomberg might have the best shot of swaying some of the moderates since Biden is all but done. The rest of them are too far left.

Does he stand much of a chance to land the nomination?
As things stand now, probably not. He is playing an Democratic self elimination party by not attending the debates because he doesn’t want to get beat up by the current party candidates. I don’t know how much the Dems can extend a hand to him without selling out themselves. They would have to ditch Sanders as a current valid leader which they will probably do anyway then abandon the rest of the candidates. That’s too much for the Democratic Party to survive. It is scary to say but that might be the Cue that Hillary is waiting for. Lord wash my mouth.

Jesus Christ, he says some of the looniest shit. Trump is now a socialist? My god, do they really think the voting public is that stupid? Oh, wait...

Yeah. How is it possible to have actual socialism for wealthy people?

Maybe I'm different, but who has wealth and power never worried me. I'm worried about control. As long as I have control over myself and my life, I'm good.

Socialists want to control you, and as far as I'm concerned they can rot in hell.
