Of course but many of the people who voted for Trump might have done so disliking Hillary but not having been exposed to constant 24/7 media bombardment about how evil Trump was himself, at that point.
I'm still amazed when Liberal friends of mine think the country went to shit under Trump. Before the virus hit I struggle to find where this country was worse off at all under Trump. But when the media constantly makes you feel like he is fucking up people get brainwashed into believing he is making things worse.

Actually, as far as the right, he has accomplished a good bit of their agenda. Not much real signature legislation... but that’s the same as Obama, any polarizing president faces Congressional opposition to pass much of anything these days. But through policy Trump has accomplished quite a bit. Not just optics.
