Really good, listened to the whole thing while doing some house work.

I wish y'all had touched on the RB position. I have a feeling we're going to be talking about this next April just like we were this one.

We'll probably do another one sometime around TC where RB will be one of the focuses I'm sure. It's a pretty beaten to depth topic and sort of straightforward though with how I think it'll go, the only really interesting aspect of it is if Blue or Mafah can show enough during camp/preseason to start eating into the playing time of the vets.

But will the vets be any good? I doubt it.

I don't mean so bad as to be unplayable, but I think we'll be wanting something more there.

Yeah I don't think anyone will be Zeke bad. But I get the feeling that Jevonte just isn't going to be very good. Miles Sanders I never really had hopes for so he can only surprise me. I like the rookies but I won't be shocked if there are growing pains that cause us to play the vets and that the vets are very disappointing.

I'm just sort of hoping we can scheme and have an O-line that makes the RBs look good.

It's all complete guesswork at this point, which is why I don't think it's very intriguing to discuss. It's basically all "wait and see".

I think one of the vets will surprise and be Dowdle-level decent but I'm hoping one of the rookies steps up and can supplant them as the year goes on.

Right, I think at least one of the vets will be close to Rico level, and we all wanted better than him. (Actually I think I'd rather have had Rico back than what we got.)

And Blue isn't an everydown back, so we'll need someone else. Mafah is my pet cat so I hope he surprises, but he is a 7th rounder. So just being realistic, I doubt he's as good as we'd like, either.

Not sure if I should make my comments now or keep them to myself for a better podcast show.

Yeah I can't stand to hear my own voice. It's like nails on a chalkboard to listen to myself in any recording.
It's fine, really. In fact you guys all have good voices.

I especially like Country Music Star McNuttz moderating and tossing it to Simp Kiper for comment.

Same, would mute myself completely if i could.

C-Rock sounds just like my cousins up in Illinois who I hardly ever talk to, so it's always good to hear his voice.

Yeah not really that interesting. I like the concept of Blue and Mafah a lot. I'm a big fan of the big RB. Statistically Mafah sort of looks like what I'd love in a RB. Productive, good yards per carry, great college career. You watch the highlights and you see a guy that can pull away running despite being a legit big dude. But I also remember some terrible workout numbers and a RB that many had ranked outside the top 20 RBs in this draft class. So I wonder if I'm just buying in to the guy because Dallas drafted him.

But I've always been a big thunder and lightening fan. Give me a RB with badass power and give me a RB with freak speed. And that's exactly what it feels like with Mafah and Blue. So the combo feels perfect for a RB by committee approach. But realistically you're not going to have 2 rookie RBs as your top two runners. Especially 2 RBs drafted on day 3 of the draft. And Blue has the most special characteristics so honestly I think he has the best shot of having a big impact. But I'm hoping Mafah can get some time too, even if it's just spot duty to sort of punish the defense or mop up late in games.

It's good to know the accent of people in Missouri hasn't changed the way I talk.
