Labeling it down to Wokeism (which uuuuhh was appropriated from black folks nahuhsayin?) really just clouds the fact that now there is a concerted movement to normalize what would have qualified as clinical mental illness within the last 50 years. By the 1990s, the entire support system for mental illness started to crumble and once it decayed, you saw a sudden wave of media designed to condition the state of normalcy.
