Air Force vet rescues torn American flag off busy road in Lubbock after severe weather

A video circulating social media today shows a man rescuing a flag on the ground, in the middle of traffic.

Brings a little bit of hope for our country. This happened here in Lubbock. USA veteran goes and finds the remains of the flag to get it disposed of properly. Fuck yeah, man.

When that guy finally took a swing, it was impressive how the old man blocked it and followed with the good night shot all in one motion. I’ll bet he was a bad MFer back in his day.

Probably making sure he didn’t hit the victim. Ricocheting bullets are not fun, nor is getting accidentally shot. I’m assuming.

Sorry life has been in the way. Mom passed, so I have been working really hard to get her affairs in order. Glad to be back though.
