The church is not the point. The quote was in error. The statement is all encompassing to whoever may be the guilty party regarding their obsession for money to the point they will do evil things to obtain it. Saying the church falls in this category is quite laughable. if you categorize them in that guise you are saying the church is evil. Of course the church asks for its congregation to support their mission but i dont think they author “ evil” deeds to obtain the gifts.
