I always love hearing Dez Bryant offer his highly informed take. I wonder what Greg Hardy has to say.

Meanwhile the real leaders Romo and Witten never say anything controversial.

In 2023 Pickens put up 63/1140/5, averaging 18 YPC, with Kenny Pickett, Mason Rudolph, and Mitch Trubisky at QB all year. He would've put up nearly similar stats last year if he hadn't missed a few games.

That was good for 16th in the league in receiving yards in 2023.

That's pretty nuts when he was playing with basically backup QB's all that season.

Just because they're not controversial and Dez is, it doesn't mean he's wrong.

I was looking at the other rosters in the division to kind of compare where we stand after the trade and what really struck me, that I didn't fully realize before, is that the Skins are fucking old and don't have much top tier young talent.

I don't think many people realize it because Daniels is the headliner and he's 24 or whatever, but look at their offense: McLaurin, Ekeler, Ertz and Tunsil are all 30+. Deebo will turn 30 later in the season but his body has been through the ringer with his play style, so I doubt he'll be effective for more than maybe the next 2ish years at most.

Bobby Wagner is arguably their best defensive player and he'll be 35 this year.

Where is the young talent outside of Daniels?

Sainristil? Newton? They only had 3 picks in the first 5 rounds this past year.

Every team in the division has youngish cornerstone, All Pro, potential HOF type players, the Skins have Daniels and ????

I think trading all those picks for Tunsil and Deebo in an attempt to win now is going to come back to bite them in the next year or two unless they have another horseshoe up their ass in 2025 that lands them in the NFCC again.

That is pretty impressive. I will take the LT approach and rein in my pessimism.

And a blind squirrel sometimes finds a nut.

It's stupid to keep trotting his opinion out as if he has a legitimate foundation to speak. He's a nutball so of course he feels aggrieved.

It doesn't mean he's wrong; but it's telling that two much more respectable leaders on this football team who didn't run around chirping about favoritism and racism like a crazy person, generally don't seem to have a problem worth airing every ten seconds.

Dez has an obvious axe to grind which is why he takes every opportunity to rant about it. Agenda means lack of credibility.

He might have tripped and fell into a take that is technically true but his evidence on the subject is still phony.
