Yes the organization will suffer some with his absence but not as much as him financially. Monetarily he is taking the risk. The best thing he can do now is to suck it up and take the franchise tag money. Assuming an agreement isn't reached tomorrow.I disagree. Cowboys will also hurt if Bryant carries through with his threats.
Secondly, as long as Bryant stays in shape, Bryant would likely get a multi-year, fat guaranteed contract from another team in 2016 even if he were to sit out 2015.
Not sure about the rules about when Bryant can sign a long-term contract, but it sure forced Jerruh's hand when the Cowboys went 0-2 w/o Emmitt. Also, Jerruh paid a king's ransom for Galloway once Irvin was out.
