I wish he would have settled down here in Dallas but he really didn't get serious about the game. He was that way at A&M also. I guess he finally decided to get serious about his career.

I doubt he's changed that much. Our Coach of the Year and his brother just couldn't stand an out-of-the-box personality.

Out of the box is right for his time here. Conformity was needed for the Dallas team at time because of the performance record which was was about .500 and the team direction was dictated by a conservative coach. He couldn't seem to accept that approach.
