Dennis Prager talked about this for years. There are countless examples of kids raised by good, solid parents who are totally normal until they go to college, become radicalized, and start disavowing their parents and everything they've stood for.

It's an epidemic. People don't realize how infested with Marxism these colleges and universities have become. When I went it was almost cute to see the loony libs because they were a harmless minority. Now it's the overriding voice these kids hear.

I'm gonna have to go head to head with my wife on this one. She's conservative like me, her family is conservative (mostly, some members fell off the wagon). But her dad (also conservative) was a Superintendent in the New Jersey school systems and my wife was a teacher in NJ for about 15 years.

Like I said, she has never been liberal, but, she carries a lot of holdover ideas about public education and education in general that we are gonna have to fight about. Namely, she is like "the kids MUST go to college," and I'm like "I'm not sure I want them to go to a traditional 4 year university at all."

Trump just said on Fox something like, right wing extremists are not a problem. They just get mad and want to fix things. Left wing extremism is the entire problem.

can’t think of a worse statement our leader could make for this moment.

But how you communicate that at this moment is certainly something to reconsider.

This was Horrific and the fringe of both sides are capable and have done despicable things.

Are you really going to say this when a GOP/Trump supporting pastor just shot and killed Minnesota Lawmaker and her husband, and wounded another in their homes, or the jubilation we saw from Trump and his allies when Nancy Pelosi's husband was almost killed? Or how about the fact that some nut shot up a school again wounding children that same day Kirk was murdered? I also heard nothing when the PA governor's house was firebombed.

These attacks aren't just one sided, and I don't believe the represent the majority of either party if you believe they do you're in a cult and unreachable. (and likely a part of the fringe that commits these acts)

I may be the most liberal person on this board, since you all banned Jiggy (and I may be even more liberal than he was) but I don't condone or relish any political violence regardless of who it's against. I think it's abhorrent, Kirk was young and had young children and a wife. I feel awful for them.

I didn't like Charlie Kirk, I thought he was a racist, Fascist, Misogynist, bigot, dirtbag, hate spewer that made millions spewing and antagonizing dangerous ideas but didn't want to see him murdered. Quite honestly it is comments like yours and those celebrating his death, that scare me the most.
