Now watch how fast Spags does a complete 180 on releasing Ware
I still think "Sentimental Jerry" talks back when our GM looks to the "Man In The Mirror" for advice.A "very difficult call" means if Ware takes a pay cut like Suggs he's back, if not, he's gone.
And his official credential as well. That makes him legit.

I so wish he was in Heisenberg garb.

LT, below is a spoiler for Breaking Bad. Do not click on it. I repeat, do not click on it.I so wish he was in Heisenberg garb.
It's true. Johnson wanted out of Dallas because he wanted to return to Florida. He knew Jones had an oversize ego and he used it to provoke Jones to the point of forcing him send Johnson down the road with a wad of cash.
Its true that Johnson did that. It's not true that makes it all Jimmy's fault. It's true. Johnson wanted out of Dallas because he wanted to return to Florida. He knew Jones had an oversize ego and he used it to provoke Jones to the point of forcing him send Johnson down the road with a wad of cash.
You can't keep someone who is hell bent on leaving. Its true that Johnson did that. It's not true that makes it all Jimmy's fault.
Jerry should have done whatever it took to keep him.
Especially when you're own actions as owner/boss made dumb decisions which made him come to the point of wanting to leave. You can't keep someone who is hell bent on leaving.
Johnson wanted to leave because he wanted to get back to Florida. Jones and Johnson had no serious problems up to that point. Johnson would get annoyed at times about Jones getting the limelight that he though should have been his but the real reason was the return to Florida. The other stuff was a catalyst to allow Johnson to have an avenue to work Jones.Especially when you're own actions as owner/boss made dumb decisions which made him come to the point of wanting to leave.
I agree. Johnson may have said that's the reason why he wanted to leave, but with 20 years since of Jerry meddling in the coaches business you know that had to be a big part of it.I find this return to FL excuse bs. He could spend all offseason in the Keys if he wanted. Jones wanted to be more involved, Johnson became mouthy any chance he got and their relationship deteriorated.
Yeah Jones behavior was a pain in the ass to Johnson but did you never hear that Johnson was interested in the Jacksonville Job and the blew up the relationship.I agree. That and I'm sure Jerry's any of 500 coaches remark didn't help things eitherI agree. Johnson may have said that's the reason why he wanted to leave, but with 20 years since of Jerry meddling in the coaches business you know that had to be a big part of it.
Coaches talking about other jobs? Never heard of that before. Except for just about every time when they are looking to increase their contract value.Yeah Jones behavior was a pain in the ass to Johnson but did you never hear that Johnson was interested in the Jacksonville Job and the blew up the relationship.
