Shit even Manning sucked horribly as a rookie. It's the standard. Guys who succeed right away like Luck are very rare.
And, even Luck really struggled this last year.

It takes a while for the very best to make the transition from college and begin to produce effectively. Last I heard the pros have a three year rule of thumb for evaluation.

This idea that a second rounder could do as well is what's crazy.
Brett Favre would agree he's crazy.

You missed my point. If they are raw, I don't care what kind of cannon they have they aren't worthy of being a top five pick.

"Raw" is another word for project, as in needs time before he can even think about starting.

I can get that very thing in the 2nd round. Don't hand me shit like Jake Locker when Derek Carr will do just as well.

Top five QB's are very near ready prospects and only in the rarest situations do they not contribute as rookies.

I mean, why aren't a dozen teams scrambling to trade up for a shot at these "franchise" QB's?

If they are true franchise studs, then Tennessee is idiotic for taking Tunsil when they should trade down for a fortune.
