You have Mr. Irrelevant in his seventh(?) game. If the team can’t get after him and cause some errors then they don’t deserve to win.Cowboys/9er's in the 90's were some of the best playoff games, ever.
I don't want to hype myself up for this game because of last nights emotions, but this game is not un-winnable. Pressure Purdy, control the run game (to an extent), and don't let Deebo beat you. We have the defense, especially if they play amped up like they did last night. Gotta find a way to score some points again.
dont tell us the series record or anything.
I like our defense matching up against Purdy.
Cowboys 5-3dont tell us the series record or anything.
Bingo. I think the Niners are better than us, honestly, so I won't be that upset if we lose as long as it's a close, hard-fought game.I will say..... as much as the rivalry between Dallas and SF is seeming to be rekindled with these playoff games.... and as much as you don't want to see SF in the Super Bowl (or Philly for that matter)....
Losing to SF isn't as embarassing at least. It's like you are still adding to a chapter of a historic rivalry. Not a forgettable flop like getting drummed out by Arizona or Carolina.
this is the key. Get to him, just like we did with Brady. The one caveat is that you never know how a rookie seventh round QB will handle the increased pressure and a better defense. That's our real chance, IMO. He could easily crack on that stage and turn the ball over a couple of times, and then it's on.
One difference.
Monday night playoff games. Such horseshit.
