Other than Tag and booze, is anyone fired up about this game?

I look forward to pretty much every game, but what a bad setup: the generic, cruddy Cardinals on a feels-even-later Monday night after the time change in a year that's slipping away because of an historically terrible defense. And then a bye next week. Yuck.

Yeah, it's hard to get excited when the team plays like it did the week before and the defense is this obviously bad.

I will approach it like I have done the games that I have "watched" this year. Background noise with the occasional look to see if the bullshit has continued.

That Denver loss was so crushing. Win that and you feel kind of good about things. Instead we play like total jabronis and now have to beat two bad teams just to get above .500 before the tough stretch starts.

On another note, how much does it suck that the last half-second of that Packers game didn't tick off the clock? We'd have another win, they'd have another loss, and we wouldn't be far behind them if we just beat this spare Cards team.

Just matters in terms of should I start being prepared for the draft or be prepared for the team to trade picks for a player.

Yeah you can't have both. It's just not possible to have talent and a D-coordinator and perform this poorly on defense. Hell, there is an argument that you probably don't have either to have a defense this poor. A good defensive coordinator can scheme up a less talented defense to perform better than this. And if your defense was really talented guys would probably be making more plays than you're seeing even with a piss poor scheme. What you're seeing is a defense that lacks standout talent really anywhere and a scheme/coordinator that is really bad. That combination is how you end up where the Cowboys are at.

But Stephen and Jerry have proven to be clueless time and time again so it's not really surprising that they would see all rainbows and sunshine.

I don't think I'd say he easily did it.

I know what lucas said about it, but I still get the feeling that Palpatine was toying with Mace because he felt like that would be the final straw to turn Anakin if he thought Palpatine was going to die and take his ability to cheat death with him.
