Bengals take the lead over Chi after recovering an onside kick. Still time for the bears to win with a FG

Trivia question: What team is once “generational” pass rusher Chase Young on now?

Whatta fall from grace

That was this guy:

  • Dallas Cowboys: Jackson was selected by the Cowboys in the fifth round of the 2019 NFL Draft. He did not remain with the team long-term, as he was waived before the season and later signed by the Detroit Lions.
  • Carolina Panthers: In August 2024, the Panthers acquired Jackson from the Seattle Seahawks. He has since become a key player for the Panthers, starting all 17 games in the 2025 season.
  • Previous teams: His career also includes stints with the Lions and Seahawks before joining the Panthers.
For some reason I thought we had a Michael Jackson emoji. Maybe I'm thinking of this guy.

Don't get me wrong, I'm glad GB lost. Honestly I'm glad the Lions lost too.

But I'm fricking irritated that the NFC sucks so bad, because I'm afraid they're going to have to skip playing the Superbowl again this year. Despite the team that shall not be named looking pretty fucking mediocre themselves.

It also irritates me that this is the second year in a row where there's really truly no great team. That's an enormous wide open opportunity that we could have conceivably taken advantage of but we're too stupid and incompetent to take advantage of it.

Yeah, so frustrating. Tbe NFC is so weak this year that if we had anything at all on defense we could make it as well as anyone.

Jerry hires an old comfortable buddy and we pay the price.

I think the Rams in particular are a good bit better than the Eagles, then there are at least 3-4 teams who are their equal if not slight betters

Everyone knows the stooges that build this team are good at shoring up one thing while letting another area lapse into a complete liability. If they could have constructed an average D, this team could have contended.

@Simpleton Your thoughts on this -- This year's biggest decision is sticking with Eberflus or new DC going into the 2026 draft. With four 1st rounders in 2026 and 2027, a defensive philosophy switch in 2027-2029 would be a significant setback

Weak third down call by the Bills on 3rd and long from midfield. A quick WR screen

Interesting. You can review pass interference penalty if ball tipped, but not intentional grounding.

Obviously if the defense continues looking this dysfunctional he needs to go ASAP, I'd get rid of him during the bye if they lay an egg tomorrow honestly.
