Traveling on a short week is always tough, too. Especially against a good team.
But I think Simp is right, they really had a horseshoe up their ass last year.
Their defense is similar to what we had under Quinn except much less talented. When they're up big they feast because of the aggressive nature, against quality opponents and in games that are neutral they struggle.
They were up big a lot last year because they had like 7 games against the worst 10 teams in the league.
Offensively they were really good at taking what the defense gives them in little chunks, setting up 3rd/4th and short, and last year they converted at a historic clip. That won't happen again, it's also a style that relies too heavily on Daniels to bail them out with his legs.
That's fine for a few years but over the long run it doesn't work.
They're an 8ish win caliber team that got ridiculously lucky, they didn't do anything significant to improve their defense and are banking on a couple of aging vets to boost an offense that wasn't that talented in the first place.
