Absolutely. Slowly but surely all of the heavy hitters from those defenses are gone or will be gone soon. Can't wait for Quinn to pound the table for this dumbass in Washington.
Agreed, Sean Tucker or Jerome Ford would be nice fits.Im ok keeping Williams but he needs a 1.5 back. Maybe not a full platoon but more than Dallas gives RB2.
I would say we could just do a rookie but evidently we dont see RBs play for 3 years.
Only 33 snaps.
You can't underestimate how much playing for a wreck like the Jets can suck the life out of you.
Yeah, I just think if the defensive players played like this against the Cardinals, Panthers, Packers or Eagles, I think those games are wins. Not getting overly excited about what the defense did. But just good defense in those games probably equals a win.I know it was only the Raiders but I a think a lot of what we saw from the defense yesterday is sustainable.
The defense looked faster and more physical with the insertion of new/healthy players. Plus unless I'm mistaken, it helps that Eberflus has finally waved the white flag on playing a zone heavy scheme.
Three weeks ago that same Geno Smith led Raiders offense probably would've scored close to 30 against the Cowboys defense.
Average defense in those games probable wins you two of those games.Yeah, I just think if the defensive players played like this against the Cardinals, Panthers, Packers or Eagles, I think those games are wins. agree Or a clock operator that was worth his salt I still believe that clock hung on one second way too long in the end of that Packers game they should have won that game just on that alone they knew when they went for it they probably didn't have enough time to set up and kick that field goal and all of a sudden the clock froze....Average defense in those games probable wins you two of those games.
Well the next three or four games will prove that out but I prefer to stick to the Eagles If we only win one more game in the rest of the way it's got to be against the Eagles but that'll be a great test for this new defense.I know it was only the Raiders but I a think a lot of what we saw from the defense yesterday is sustainable.

Dowdle has been just as productive in Carolina though and it hasn't been a fluke.
10/year would be a bridge too far for me honestly, David Montgomery just got 9/year. I'd happy do 6-8 though.

I think Williams is better, just not sure he's worth 10 if someone like Dowdle can be had for about half the price.I'm not a fan of Dowdle. I think he gets what is there. Williams has made something of nothing, which I don't think Dowdle is consistently capable of.
He was born in '59. He is a boomer.I like these breakdowns but Baldy uses social media like a boomer.![]()
I remember his rookie year undrafted in the early 80’sHe was born in '59. He is a boomer.
This is what we thought about Parsons though.Jerry has basically been saying they're going to sign Pickens since about week 4, I'm not overly worried about it.
They may do their same old stupid song and dance but I think it'll eventually get done.
I think Lamb is better and I do think Pickens is benefitting from teams expecting Lamb to be the guy.I mean, I think Lamb is a great receiver. But damn, Pickens has exceeded even optimistic projections. Even when Lamb was out for a few weeks Pickens was dominating. So you can't just claim he is a product of the attention Lamb is getting. Pickens is just a stud. Now I do think Lamb has been getting more attention. I also think Lamb is still sort of getting back into a groove after the injury. But I can't argue with what you're saying. I'd take either dude over most teams top WR's right now. We have the weapons to dominate anyone with both of those guys on the field. Assuming the protection can give Dak the time he needs.
And when/if something happens to the QB, we have an offense ready to go for the next guy.I think Lamb is better and I do think Pickens is benefitting from teams expecting Lamb to be the guy.
But so what?
We haven't had this kind of 1-2 punch since we foolishly traded away Amari Cooper.
