Hearing Broad Street mentioned at a nauseating rate. @Genghis Khan Is there anything special about it? Is it actually pleasant or just any city center chain-store riddled street with street vendors?

It's the main street that runs throughout the entire middle of the city from beginning to end. It's very much unpleasant but well known throughout the area and often referenced.

When I went to Temple I used to drive straight down Broad Street from the suburbs (it's route 611 and runs all the way to York PA, it took me about an hour. It's called Old York Rd in the suburbs), and HATED every fucking second of that drive. It's a nightmare.

Depending on the section of the city there's horrific traffic, idiots that don't know how to drive, cars parked where they shouldn't be, hookers, drugs, run down buildings, mom and pop shops (with metal shutters), food trucks, Temple University, hospitals, skyscrapers, etc.

The stadiums are all basically right off Broad Street. The subway runs basically right along Broad Street under the city.

So yeah it's a pretty big deal in Philly.

This is such uncanny shit with this fucking team, they get outgained every week and some flukey horseshit inevitably ends up going their way.

Outgained by literally 100 yards but winning by 10 because the other team's coach is a moron and never met a 4th down he didn't like.

The Lions left at least 6 points on the board from that moron constantly going for it on 4th down. This should be like a 4 point game right now.
