We would have been ready to run Oweh outta town after a couple of single digit sack seasons to start his career.

Had Parson still been on the team, I believe the first half would have looked much different :unsure:sad
Well clearly. The guy is a beast.

It's too bad we can't fix stupid. He should have been a Cowboy for the next four years way back in the early offseason. Same with Lamb and Dak in years prior.

Instead we waited until the price rose to the point where paying all three players would have taken up about half the cap.

Sometime around or just before Dez's last deal, this org got super-stupid and stubborn with big contracts, in total denial of the potential of the market place to literally blow up around them..

We blew both Dak's first and second big re-signings.

Don't.Pay.Him.

How about we challenge him to get better and get paid?

Randy Moss was famous for running lazy routes to the point the Vikings let that beast of an all-timer go.

I think WR's are different by nature and it's usually the very rare ones with talent or the ones with average talent that otherwise might struggle to make rosters who run hard every route, no matter what.

The Jerry Rice's, Michael Irvins, and Henry Ellards are rare.

Alvin Harper was by nature at first a lazy route runner unless he was getting the ball, but Irvin and Aikman wouldn't put up with it.

It's not surprising at all that he totally flopped as a pro outside of Dallas.

I'm with you, it's week one. We have all season to work on the little details like the one pointed out here.

Imagine how much money we would have saved had they done all those deals in a timely manner. 30 mill? 40 mill?

Such a wierd dumber. Why aren't they whole numbers?

I really would like to see the dumbass formulas for fines.

I'm guessing it's a percentage of his salary or a game check so it probably depends on whatever his contract is.
