Kind of crazy because I think of them as a grind it out team. A team that can just play keep away and chew the clock.
That approach needs to be complemented with the ability to score quickly as well and they have traditionally lacked that with their utter inability to bring in quality prime WRs.
Reminds me of the 2007 Divisional playoff game vs the Giants in the first half when we systematically ground out two long TD drives only to have Eli Manning score two TD's on two quick long busted coverages and tie the game. We'd lost our edge with T.O. at 75% playing on an injured ankle.
We should have scored 21+ points that half, but we ate up the clock we needed to do it.
