I wouldn't trade Tolbert for a 6, he's still really good depth for a year and a 6 is whatever.

A 4 or maybe a 5, or a productive player on an expiring deal like Breece Hall?

Sure.

Hey, I'm probably the biggest Tolbert hater on the board. I'd do it in a heartbeat.

I just don't think they will.

I do wonder who they keep because I think Brooks and Flournoy both deserve it.
I like Flournoy more than Tolbert.

But they will keep Tolbert, you are right about that.

Based on what? Flournoy has shown pretty much nothing so far.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not a fan of Tolbert either but there's little basis for putting Brooks or Flournoy ahead of him.

I'm skeptical of Broaddus, so small Siberian salt mine, but he said Flournoy was about our best WR in working hard and getting open these last games, but Milton is so bad he can't get him the ball. Plus that he seems to be getting special teams, too.

I just think he is a more explosive athlete and a better route runner from what I have seen. He is also a better blocker and special teams player from what I understand.

Statistically I can't back any of it up. I've mostly seen Flournoy in preseason. Tolbert has obviously done more statistically. Of course Flournoy is only heading into year two of the NFL while Tolbert is heading into year 4. Neither guy is someone I'm handing a second contract to more than likely but I like the guy who I have for 3 more years on the cheap. This is Tolbert's last year with the team more than likely.

Yep, he's bigger, faster, and more physical. Maybe all he needs is a chance.

I'm a Brooks guy, but it's possible Flournoy is a more athletic version of him, if RF keeps showing the want-to.

Yeah and Holden might be sort if the same group as these guys. The bar isn't super high but can you at least beat single coverage against a teams second/third corner? Thats the biggest thing. You don't have to be Lamb or Pickens, just be capable of taking advantage of the coverage opportunity that presents.

The Broncos got a 4th and a 7th for someone called Devaughn Vele? And think how high those Saints picks will be. :doh

What am I missing on this Vele guy that makes him worth a fourth?
He was their version of Jalen Tolbert minus playing time that got beat out by a couple of younger guys. They wanted a taller bigger guy for Moore. I am surprised that New Orleans was that charmed by him.

Especially because they have a very legitimate chance of having the #1 pick overall. That could be almost like a third rounder.

I'm just blown away at that. You suck, you're going to suck, your draft picks are going to be top of the round, and you do this?

If anyone is that charmed with Tolbert sign me up right now.
Tragically, nobody is. And even if he were, we drafted him, so we don‘t trade.

And honestly, we have next to zero relationships at the the GM level amongst the younger guard, so I don’t think they are bothering unless they are selling.
