I have zero complaints as far as he is concerned. Just wish we had someone who could spell him for about 7 carries a game that wouldn't be a huge drop-off. Mafah maybe?

You started to see glimpses of the explosion from Blue in this last game. I think he is fine as a number 2. Way too much pearl clutching by the coaches over letting a rookie RB get 5-7 carries a game.

True, but shouldn't Flournoy be the next man up? He's actually demonstrated the ability to make plays pretty consistently.

This reeks of them trying to force Mingo into the lineup based on pedigree and the fact that they traded for him, rather than merit.

Flournoy should absolutely be the next man up. The guy can run routes and get open. I don't see how Mingo really adds anything on the field. He can basically do 2 things, slants and go balls. And with Pickens and Lamb he doesn't really fit. Flournoy is a way more nuanced route runner who actually knows how to get open.

Just my two cents.

I mean, the team is Jerry's play toy. And if he wants to see the guy he traded for, that's what will happen. Even if it doesn't make sense.
