If has dragged this out just to stir up a circus environment and sign him last minute, I will start wishing for his death daily. Somebody used the word “exhausting” the other day. Good fucking word. Season hasn’t even started yet and I can feel the apathy setting in.

Don't think that is it this time. Simply, he thought he had the old handshake deal for a 5 year contract. Agent vehemently disagrees. Tells Parsons how he's getting fucked signing for 5 instead of 3. Now Parsons feels wronged. It is about who blinks first.

Remember Parsons sit out an entire college season for covid or something.

Yeah, this grudge between Jerry and the agent really feels like it has taken over and this is no longer a game of getting things done last minute. This appears more like two guys who won't dare call the other first. And Parsons is just sort of the puppet in the middle. But Parsons isn't doing himself any favors by basically bitching out to both guys when they talk to him.

I do think it's sorry that Jerry and Micah can pretty much agree on a huge contract - not like the player was getting screwed here - and the agent can convince Micah how he was getting screwed, "The Man" was taking advantage of him, etc.

I think Jerry, as despicable as he is in most ways, is right that he'd care about Micah for most of the rest of his life, like he has Irvin and Emmitt and Tony and most of his players. David Mulugheta just cares about his rep as Mr Superagent.

This agent just fucked the Cowboys, and Jerry should have gotten more than two first round picks.

One small silver lining... old-assed Kenny Clark is still an upgrade over Mazi, even now in his age 30 season and though he seemed to fall off a cliff last year. That's how bad Mazi is.
