Except for RBs. Those dudes typically get screwed because of the nature of the position.

If they perform well and push for a lucrative contract extension like every other 1st rounder that outperformed their rookie deal, RBs almost always get pushback because of the wear and tear they've already sustained.
Yeah with RBs after their first 4 or 5 years you're best off going on a year by year basis after that because they could fall off a cliff at any moment.

He's going to be dead soon and the team will be better off for it.

The only question is by how much. Will it be just slightly because the old idiot isn't around to stir up bullshit for no reason and everything else stays status quo?

Maybe.

Will it be significantly because Stephen steps back a bit more, hires a real GM and lets them do their thing like a normal organization?

Probably not, but the chances of that happening are a hell of a lot higher than they are now (i.e. 0% currently).

As I've said many times, back in the day you could count on Jerry to do splashy, aggressive stuff, but now?

He's just a mascot that stirs the pot and creates controversy while doing literally nothing of positive value.

I’m gonna guess moderately better. Rosie will take all Jerry’s titles, but things will be closer to how a decent football team is run. No more complete retardations like standing on the table for dipshits like Johnny Football.

As Simp said, we'll probably be more like your average middle of the road franchise. Nothing innovative or exceptional, but at least not an intentional attention-whoring circus like now.

I would love that. Said it before, but if I weren't born in Ft Worth and lived in north Texas I'd never be a Cowboys fan. Can't stand being the Kardashians of the NFL. I'd much rather be like the Rangers and just play ball. Couldn't care less about how much ESPN talks about us.

Bloated Rosie doesn’t have the awww shucks and pat’em on the back huckster in him like Jerry PT Barnum does. He’s always been able to blow smoke up the fans asses.
I think it gets ugly quick when Jerry is dead and Rosie is in charge of teams who finish with losing records or have playoff meltdowns.

Like the two older Gemstones watching Jessie’s son preach and are incredulous that he’s doesn’t have the gift of bullshit.

If you don’t watch, ignore this.
