How’s this for a sad fact of life…..Giants hit on a Qb this draft and we are in the division cellar for the foreseeable future.
That's funny, but you forget we have the highest paid QB in the history of the sport.

Luckily I don't think this is a good draft for QBs. They could hit on a QB because you never really know, but I don't think it's likely.

Also, I've given up on our ability to win anyway so does it really matter?

Heard Troy on his Ticket show today defending Dak's comments that we were close to Philly. Was basically trying to use the "taken out of context" defense.

Come on, Troy. We saw the video and heard the whole thing.

I get that he wants to back Dak and doesn't want "Troy bashes Dak" as a headline, but you don't have to rubber stamp everything. There were plenty of things Dak could have said that wouldn't have sounded as silly as that.

I didn't hear the interview but just last season we won the division, blowing them out once and coming within about 8 yards of beating them the other time.

We aren't actually that far off on paper, which I'd imagine is what Dak is talking about, and I'd guess the actual factors holding us back (organizational, culture, etc.) are things Dak refuses to acknowledge.

No doubt that is what Dak was talking about, but the truth is, they got much better last year and we got much worse, so I don't know that two or three years ago, or Dak's overall record against them, matters right now.

And even if he thinks it does, he should read the room a little bit and understand how bad that sounds to angry fans right now. Just say we have a tremendous amount of work to do to catch them and leave it at that.

Eagles made moves to massively improve their roster and coaching staff which showed on the field this season.

Barring a massive decline from Barkley or injury trouble, we’ve fallen way behind the Eagles on paper or anywhere else you can think of.

And a massive decline for Barkley is inevitable, might not be right away next season but I would expect him to be a shell of himself or injured later in the season.

The real issue is that Fangio is one of the best DC's in the league and should keep their defense near the top as long as he's there.

It would help if Prescott were the one saying this, not the next guy up to get paid.

Burrow has stated he would restructure to help the Bengals draw FAs as the Eagles do.

The bad thing is that these kind of pleas from simple employees who do not understand the cap and how the concept of pie works will go unheard.

I dunno, Dak is already locked in. He has no leverage. Micah might, if they have a brain in their heads and really want to keep him.

QBs with hefty contracts should be used as banks in FA, but only if the contract dictates. If it does not, then it is a horrible contract.
Banks?

The guy sure as shit runs his mouth too much but I'll forever be grateful for him trying to coerce these cheap hillbilly fucks into doing something in FA.

We had a shot at him but .. yeah… Zimmer was the better option

Parsons should just demand a trade like Garrett. These fucking cunts are either too stupid to massage the cap the way other teams do, or just don't want to.
Yep. Why the hell would you want to waste your talent on a team like the Cowboys? If he cares about sitting back and collecting a check then Dallas is his place. If he wants to win a SB, he’ll go elsewhere.
At least he addresses the elephant in the room and calls out the fact the Dorko Twins need to spend money and bring in pieces to elevate the talent level.

How awesome would it be, on the heels of the Luka trade, that the Cowboys trade Parsons straight up for Garrett? Then make him the highest paid defender in history........
