Why blame the shot if it was just about money? There was definitely more to it than just money in my opinion. Something changed during that season with Cooper and the Cowboys.

I think they probably wanted more from him in some capacity and he’s an odd guy, his behavior wasn’t bad but that’s why he was traded from Oakland too, oddity. And the Cowboys took the incident as an opportunity to read him as unserious about the team, which, in conjunction with his massive contract, they wrongly jumped to the conclusion that they don’t need such an expensive player who isn’t fully committed.
It was a wrong decision from all angles by the team. One of the worst unforced errors I’ve ever seen out of this ownership and that’s saying something.
Amari never should have left here.
