I hope he gets even more money than that. I'm rooting for the kid to get a big pay day. It just won't be here.

I do hope we resign Lewis though. And I'd take Dowdle back but that's all about cost. It has to be consistent with the pay of an often injured #2 RB.

There will be RB’s in the 6th round this year better than Dowdle. The middle to late round talent in this draft is unlike any I’ve ever seen at RB

Dowdle wouldn't change my draft strategy at all. But you need 3 RBs on the roster. Someone with some actual starting experience would be nice. Dowdle would be good as one of those 3 RBs.

What I think is scary is having 3 rookie RBs all trying to learn at the same time how to be an NFL player. But the vet doesn't have to be Dowdle. Just someone better than Zeke FFS.

I will say, when doing a mock draft the fifth round can be really fun with all the picks. We have like 6 draft picks in the fifth and sixth round. Taking a second RB with one of them would be really easy.
