Those numbers on defense have really done you a lot of good...

Sorry that argument just doesn't work for me. Like hey, we need to have 5 corners active because they all suck.
Right. It doesn’t matter what collection of bums you trot out on defense, get more speed on offense, because your only option is to outscore everyone.

Well if your adjustment is to play predominantly in dime sets, then yeah, you need them all.

I mean, a legit (though not great) strategy could be to flood the coverage and make GB run the football because it is always favorable to do so. And if they still score most of the time, it will in theory take longer and you've got Dak and a pick-laden OL to lead the counter-scoring.

Romo picked apart the Browns when they tried this defensive strategy opening day in 2008, but it slowed Dallas down to 'only' scoring four touchdowns when they truly outmatched the Browns in every way. Romo still had a pick on 24/32 attempts, but he averaged 10 YPA and a 75% completion percentage. Will Love be that patient/accurate?

He should be activated because of the Guardian Cap alone.

Yeah he was talking past tense as to why Blue hasn't been active in previous weeks. My point was only that those "extra" defenders against the Bears and Giants did you a lot of fucking nothing. I have no idea what the strategy will be against the Packers. Based on Eberflus so far this year my guess is it will be a lot of zone coverage and rushing 4 D-lineman (Love apparently is great against zone coverage FYI).

Now you hope that those extra defenders will actually contribute to something good. But up to this point they haven't at all. And frankly CJ Goodwin eating up a spot can go fucking kick rocks. But no one gives a shit about my thoughts on him. And does he count as a defensive player? Because his whiffed tackles and poor angles on punt coverage certainly don't make him a special teamer in my book.

It's also confirmation of brittleness (brittlenity?)
Is it though? It's not really protecting anything except brain injuries. And as dorky and stupid as the things look if you can protect your brain from extra trauma during practice why not?

It's sort of like not taking Tylenol while pregnant. Sure maybe it doesn't actually cause autism but why take the risk knowing that it could? Why not wear the bubble if there is a chance of getting a concussion? I don't know that the guy would actually wear it in a game.

Don't they have to wear them in practice? Or maybe it's just the linemen/front seven that have to.

Point is, that doesn't mean he'll wear it in a real game. As much as MOC Rev would like to see it.

It's bullshit anyway. It's just a misdirection to hide the fact that they are playing Miles Sanders over him. That's the entire issue, not numbers anywhere else.
