Did you think I said Sanders was picked by the Cowboys? Maybe I wasn’t clear but I was posing a what if .Huh?
Yikes. That kid might want to hire some security.![]()
Son of Falcons coordinator behind Sanders prank
The son of Falcons defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich admitted to being the one behind a prank call to Shedeur Sanders during Day 2 of the NFL draft.www.espn.com
Geez.. it’s just a prank, I’m sure Sanders will be just fine. He plays in the nfl and will be a millionaire. Unlike Colin Kawperfuck claims, I am sure he won’t be oppressed by any of this. They will probably make this out to be more than it is I am sure with tons of media coverage and legal threats
I hate to tell you this, but you're totally wrong.Geez.. it’s just a prank, I’m sure Sanders will be just fine. He plays in the nfl and will be a millionaire. Unlike Colin Kawperfuck claims, I am sure he won’t be oppressed by any of this.
DT Robinson was a superb pick in the 4th. He has the potential to be a great pass rushing DT on passing downs, if not the size for a full timer. One thing I found interesting is that the Eagles really didn't do much of anything to address losing their 2nd and 3rd best pass rushers last year (Josh Sweat and Milton Williams).
Their entire defense last year was predicated on getting to the QB with 4 (Sweat, Williams, Carter and Nolan Smith) and dropping 7, they barely played anybody else in clear passing situations, and also lost Brandon Graham who was tied for 5th on the team in sacks.
Campbell was a bit of a steal with the injury situation, but he's an off-ball LB who is more of a blitzer than pure pass-rusher. Maybe they're expecting someone like Bryce Huff to bounce back or Azeez Ojulari to break out, but if the plan is to fill in their pass rush by blitzing off-ball LB's like Campbell and Baun I think they're going to be in for a rude awakening.
Their off-ball LB's are admittedly very good right now with Baun, Dean, Campbell and even Mondon who they just drafted, but Fangio has never really been about exotic blitz schemes, he's very similar to Eberflus actually where it's about winning with your down 4, playing zone behind it and rallying to the ball.
I didn't think there was any chance that Mike Green and Eze would get past both the Eagles and Skins, but here we are.
Maybe, I thought he was a better run defender than pass rusher.DT Robinson was a superb pick in the 4th. He has the potential to be a great pass rushing DT on passing downs, if not the size for a full timer.
Yea and if they were "prepared" to take a WR at 12 they obviously know at some level that it's a need.NFC EAST
Dallas Cowboys![]()
Don't they need receiver help?
The Cowboys were prepared to select Arizona wideout Tetairoa McMillan in the first round before he went off the board to the Carolina Panthers. They did not draft a receiver after that. They say they like what they have on hand already -- from Jalen Tolbert's growth, KaVontae Turpin's big-play ability, the potential of Jalen Brooks and Ryan Flournoy and a full offseason of Jonathan Mingo, who was picked up in a trade last season. CeeDee Lamb still put up big-time numbers last season, but Dallas needs to make his life easier by adding more receivers to deflect at least some attention. The Cowboys know it, but now they have to show it with either a trade or free-agent addition. -- Todd Archer
I'm guessing there must have been a pretty big gap between Tet and Golden if this is true.
He had 7 sacks last year.Maybe, I thought he was a better run defender than pass rusher.
He might be a piece by year 2 or 3 as an interior rusher, but I was expecting them to address their pass rush with premium resources, as opposed to stacking up off-ball LB's who they traditionally don't spend high picks on.
Sure, as a 6th year senior with 5 in the previous four years. He had 7 sacks last year.
Yeah he is a really good run defender. Despite the weight he played like a NT at times. He had moments as a pass rusher but he isn't twitchy. Very physical dude.Yea and if they were "prepared" to take a WR at 12 they obviously know at some level that it's a need.
All of the bluster from Stephen is just posturing and negotiating through the media to an extent.
I think we can win 10, maybe 11 games with what we have if things fall right, but at the very least it's obvious that these guys aren't completely oblivious as to the need at the position.
