I can't get over the celebration in the war room. Like we just got Micah or CeeDee.

Such an absolute clown show.

They always do this shit. All the teams do. But it's just so fake to me. They knew the day prior Booker was their pick unless a better option became available. This wasn't some real discussion on draft day. And any idiot could have told you Booker would be available at 12.

To me it kind of feels like their worst case scenario. No one fell and no one gave them a good offer to trade up. Nothing against Booker but he was this teams worst case scenario at 12.

So how do you act like you just won the lottery?

I know people that act like that when they win $5 on a scratch off.

One guy on ESPN said Booker was the best OL in the draft to Dallas.
I'm not saying there is anything wrong with Booker. Everything tells me he is the best run blocker in this draft and is an excellent pass protector. I haven't watched much of him. I'll go back and watch some this weekend probably.

But it's a guard.

So how would people have felt about this?

I have to say, even though I'm wary of Nolen's character, I'd have been more excited about this. At least he has great potential. -- his quickness for someone that big is really impressive. I'm worried Booker's limited athleticism might hold him back at this level.

Talking Daddy into Martin over Manziel was probably Goof Son's greatest triumph ever. He's probably trying to re-create that.
Don't worry McClay made sure to mention that he had a similar grade on Martin. ImWe aren't even trying to rebuild the Superbowl formula of the 90s. Now they talk like they are trying to rebuild the team of 10 years ago that never went to an NFCC game. Martin, Frederick and Tyron Smith.

I will say we have the Oline locked in for a long time hopefully. Guys, Smith, Bebee and Booker are all going to be here a long time in my opinion. Steele is well, Steele. But Dak should at least have a clean middle to step up into to avoid the rush.

That's exactly what it is. They mentioned it several times in the PC last night.

We've talked about it on here, but they are so proud of those teams from ten years ago, like they were the early 90s teams or something. It's pretty sickening that to them, even though they won one playoff game, that was massive "success."

Athletic testing has never been a huge concern for me with interior Olineman. I think it's overrated with centers and guards. But at the same time you have to move your feet to be effective. Let's hope he is Travis Frederick because that's the last Olineman I can think of that we drafted who tested this poorly.

He does have size and arm length. So not an easy man to get around.

Just heard on NFL radio that the possible trade down that Houston was offering was for future picks only. The Cowboys wanted picks for this year, so the deal stalled. Didn't sound like it included next years first, so they said no.

No idea if this is true or not.

I mean I'd want it to be a bunch of future picks if that was the case. I mean you move from 12 to 25 you should expect a second this year or a first next year.

Brugler had Booker ranked 17th on his board.

Good thing is now we won't be drafting an OL in the first 2, 3 rounds of the next 4 or 5 drafts. Or will we?
Im wary of Guyton.
