I was thinking Harbaugh would have been a great fit for the team. Run the ball, play defense, QB doesn't need to win by himself, won everywhere he has been. Too bad there's no relationship with Jer, he's too expensive and would want too much control.

He's a great coach period. One of the few difference-making ones. And could have had him last year if Jerry had any interest, which of course he didn't.

There were two major issues to Jim Harbaugh coaching here.

One, McCarthy had a year left and God forbid Jerry pay him for a year to not coach.

Two, Harbaugh is being paid $16 million per year. God forbid Jerry pay a top coach a market value salary.

In other words, Jerry is a cheap dickhead and when he says he'd write a big check to win a super bowl, he's lying.
