McCarthy certainly doesn’t bring a lot of confidence looking in at game time. His offense is predictable, and on Sundays where other coaches are winning with less talent it looks even worse.Jerry is about to scapegoat McCarthy.
Jerry is right that until the Dak and Lamb extensions, they couldn’t have afforded Henry.
The idiotic problem is, the reason they had no cap space was because of the ongoing negotiations. Negotiations that they eventually caved in, saving absolutely no money, and thus could have been finished with six months earlier, and then they COULD have had the money for Henry and more.
Clown show over here. They wasted all that time fighting with Prescott and didn’t even gain anything. They lost time in which they could have actually improved their team.
If they were gonna take a hard line they should have just traded him.
He won't do that on his own. Too much of a cash cow.Jerry needs to sell the fucking team if he doesn't want to pay the cost of doing business in today's NFL.

For a guy without a contract he sure seems to be toeing the company line. I’dbe bitching about something, most likely the shit I got stuck with at RB.
Sometimes making a coach "coach for his job" by leaving him in the last year of his contract doesn't work out the way you think it does.I think McCarthy is a good coach but they've looked uncoached the past two weeks on both sides of the bal
Greeny just basically said the same thing on Get upJerry is right that until the Dak and Lamb extensions, they couldn’t have afforded Henry.

I wonder how much of it is the inevitable Jerry factor: the farther we get into a coach's tenure, the more he inserts himself. I noticed even in the training camp PCs, Jerry took over. In the first one, he talked about 90% of the time, Stephen about 7% of the time, and McCarthy about 3% of the time. PCs of the last few years haven't been like that.I think McCarthy is a good coach but they've looked uncoached the past two weeks on both sides of the ball.
But in McCarthy's defense, part of that is probably because they are relying on so many young players all over the roster.
It's untenable to have that many young players in key roles.
The players all notice the same things we notice about how the HC is a lame duck given almost nothing in free agency.
So Jerry in his never ending quest to keep his garbage pail franchise in the news cycle by putting off contracts that should have been done way earlier, fucked the team from getting anyone of any value in free agency.
Completely comical stuff, an NFL defense should never allow 28 points with the other team attempting ONE pass that travels 10+ yards, especially when the offense didn't turn it over inside their own territory.
We have several high profile players saying the same thing. They are not professional. That means the players have tuned out the coaching.
BTW this is what the MVP actually did.
The last two weeks look a lot like when it fell apart for Fat Wade. Thing is, if you can Fat Mike, who is the red headed grinning backstabber who becomes interim?Jerry is about to scapegoat McCarthy.
Instead of firing McCarthy last year like a normal organization they chose to punish him by resetting the roster with an eye on 2025 and beyond.Off the top of my head...
