It was pretty cool to watch the Chiefs- who have won SBs and playoffs all while losing (or dumping) players- still compete at a high level the last couple seasons. Shows what a real coach and FO can do, even with the “constraints” of the cap.

The idiotic problem is, the reason they had no cap space was because of the ongoing negotiations. Negotiations that they eventually caved in, saving absolutely no money, and thus could have been finished with six months earlier, and then they COULD have had the money for Henry and more.

Clown show over here. They wasted all that time fighting with Prescott and didn’t even gain anything. They lost time in which they could have actually improved their team.

If they were gonna take a hard line they should have just traded him.
