Al Shaar should be disqualified for punch and head butt. Won’t even get penalized?

About time NBC eliminated the field shading on third down necessary to get a first. Now just eliminate the LOS line, too.

This is where Devin Hester goes yard and Denny Green goes wild

Somehow the Bears defense again keeps the Texans from nailing the coffin

It’s pleasing to see shit that would work in college fail in the NFL. Caleb Williams’ lauded improvising has resulted in a few INTs tonight.
I can already tell that neither him or Daniels will be a top tier QB. I haven't watched Nix yet but I doubt he will either, we'll see on Maye and Penix.

This team is a shit show. We all saw this coming when they did nothing at the RB position. They did nothing on the DL either, or any real upgrade at WR. The really shit the bed extending Dak so now we have 4 more yea of nothing. But it really doesn’t matter. Even though Jerry thinks the team is better this year compared to last, it is much worse. Another year of wasted talent with a bunch of dumbasses running a team like they have no common sense. I have already come to grips with the fact that as long as the jones’ own this team they will never be taken serious or be a serious competitor for a championship again. I mean, unlike some teams, they can’t even luck into playing in the NFC championship game.

Here's the truth.

We all (or most) overreacted to the win against Cleveland (whether you want to admit it or not).

We all (or most) are now overreacting to the loss against New Orleans (whether you want to admit it or not).

We've had a couple stinkers like this every single year the past few years.

In the end, nothing has changed. We'll be the same 10-12 win team we've been the past few years. And we'll lose in the playoffs, most likely in the first 2 rounds.

I've said this before, but the issue in the offseason was never that we're going to suck now. It was always that we didn't do anything really to get over the hump in the playoffs. We'll be decent but that's not good enough.

Nothing has changed.

As for why this keeps happening?

Just a guess, but maybe relying on a bevy of rookies and first year players every year isn't conducive to getting a consistent stable performance every week. Just a guess.

I saw the DL getting blown off the ball yesterday, zero pressure on the QB, and lapses in coverage on the backend.
That’s been going on for years for the most part.

Jerry could have drafted a RB or picked one up in FA….he did neither and decided to go cheap just like he always does. Terrible GM that doesn’t know how to build a team nor manage one. Nothing is ever going to change.

I'll also say Zimmer probably needs more time with the defense. It's a complicated scheme and it was probably too good to be true that the guys all mastered it in a matter of a training camp. When you switch schemes it's going to take some time for players to adjust and learn. They are still learning.

But damn that was historic bad.
