The defense alignments are horrible. The secondary is conseding 7 or 8 yards and then dropping back at the snap.

I agree, way too soft what we are doing on defense.

There's little hope in the future for this team either. Paying a 2nd tier QB like he's the best in the league leaves no room for error on your roster. There will be more of the same...minimal activity in FA, good, but not great draft classes, and mediocrity for the forseeable.
