He's been good in his specific role once Zimmer broke the defense out of their bad habits from Quinn's scheme, you can't deny it. He'll never be a Pro Bowler but he looks like a competent 2-down run-stuffing NT, which is lightyears beyond what he was last year.
Feh.

He looks like a JAG now.

Barely Maliek Collins. Maybe at Gallimore status.

My inner disgusting homer thinks that minus the injuries, we could be a playoff team.
Next year?

If you guaranteed me that we could get a full season out of the defense similar to the last 8 or so games I'd put the O/U on wins at 10.5, and I think there's an argument we could win the division depending on how steep of a drop off you get from Barkley.

They'll likely still shit themselves in the playoffs, but there is more than enough talent on this roster to make the playoffs if the defense is playing with the same type of edge.

Is he what we all wanted when he was drafted? No. But he's better than what you're giving him credit for. And to deny how much our run defense has improved with him playing significant snaps is just being stubborn.

Minnesota's had a wide open offense all year. Watching how conservative they've been playing inside the redzone tonight is just confusing.

If we had taken him in the 2nd I think people would be pretty pleased with him right now, aside from whatever weird shit happened last year with Quinn and him losing like 30 lbs.

He's obviously not on the level of like a Diggs 2nd round pick but I've seen more out of him this year than I did out of recent 2nd rounders like Sam Williams, Kelvin Joseph, or Schoonmaker.

He had a terrible rookie year. There's no denying that. But I'll give him credit. Instead of going into a shell, it looks like he put some work in. And he's improving. If he makes another jump in his 3rd year, we just might have something.

Omg, Darnold. Wtf?

It's not like Detroit is some crazy good defense. But he's looked shook all night.

Both teams are playing their nuts off like the game matters.

It happens.

Detroit has the better chance to beat Philly so it's for the best that they get HFA over Minnesota.

I could see Minnesota losing to some slack ass team in the second round coming off their bye and giving Philly HFA for the NFCC, that's not happening to Detroit.

Gibbs is much better than I thought.
Gibbs is why I think Jeanty will be the pick if he's still there.

They loved Gibbs supposedly and Jeanty is just a bigger, more physical, slightly less explosive version.

Lost in the Johnson love is Aaron Glenn. Dude has earned a job.

Rumor has him in front for the Saints’ gig.

Further proof that you can’t trust a fucking ginger.
