Props to Geno Smith.

Played at a level longer than I would’ve bet.

Might be the last 3 minutes of Aaron Rodgers' career playing out.

Sure hope we get to see him get obliterated at least one more time.

Just wait until they draft Jeanty
They've never spent a pick higher than a 3 on a RB since Shannahan has been there, and his dad was notorious for not spending premium resources on RB's.

Anything is possible but I'd be pretty shocked if they took a RB at 11 overall.

And when they finally got an elite talent at the position in McCaffrey, they fucked up the league and finally fell off the edge of the Earth when he got hurt. He elevated every other skill player on that team significantly.

They have lived the difference between just getting production from that position and fielding a star. If they ask themselves which player gets them closest to the Superbowl, it may well be Jeanty

I mean even we got 1000 yards from Rico Dowdle. Production doesn't mean a ton next to creating a favorable matchup all on your own.

Maybe.

Or maybe they'll remember how they were closest to winning a SB in 2019 with some random schlubs at RB. Or how they were a razor thin OT away from another SB appearance in 2021, again, with random schlubs at RB.

It's possible that they go all in on a RB but if I had to guess the McCaffrey trade was a special circumstance where they got an elite talent for pennies on the dollar, not to mention the family tie between the Shannahan's and McCaffrey's.

It's possible, but if I had to bet I'm definitely betting on them addressing one of their other needs and looking for a RB to pair with McCaffrey later on in a deep class.

Not sure Jeanty is their style exactly. They thrive with McCaffery because of his versatility as a receiver. Jeanty can catch a ball but that's not really his thing. Kind of short for that too.

I agree Jeanty is not their typical fit and McCaffrey did have clear family ties.

Not even saying it's likely they take him. But I wouldn't be surprised if they did
