Meh, it is the way things are going. Streaming services. Networks are on their last legs.

It's still the only way a lot of people get TV. I mean, the networks still let you to put up rabbit ears and watch free.

Hulu/+, Disney+, Paramount+, Netflix, Prime, Apple TV, ESPN+, Peacock, Max, Starz, Showtime, AMC+, Discovery, and services from other countries

Then cordless consolidators and DVR providers like Fubo, YoutubeTV, Sling or cable companies like DirecTV, Dish, FIOS, Xfiniti, Cox, and a dozen smaller competitors

Who can afford all that?

I'm paying for, have discounts for, or steal from my kids FIOS Internet, Hulu, Disney+, ESPN+, Max, Netflix, ESPN+, and Prime-- and I've had enough of the BS. I'm old AF, so I can only imagine what most people can afford.

Now cell phones are throwing that shit in though. Like with Tmobile you can get Hulu, Netflix and Apple TV all for free.

Ravi, you don't get it. Streaming is new so it's automatically better. Anything older is worse, by definition.

Please turn your brain off and get with the program.

Yeah, I'm a Verizon customer so I get Hulu, ESPN+, and Disney+ for "free".

No way I'd pay for all 3 of those on top of everything else I already pay for to stream.

You guys subscribing to cable/satellite are paying a small fortune per month to watch network TV, if you can't get it on antenna, and maybe 3 other channels you actually use.

I refuse to pay for that shit. I have Prime cuz I buy a lot of shit on Amazon, their video is a decent bonus.

Then I pick and choose what streaming services I pay for depending on what kind of deal I can get (for year), or for a month or two until I watch the shows I want then cancel.

It's a hassle, but the savings are huge.

Yeah, constantly doing trials and/or having to cancel every other month sounds way better than the olden days of cable or satellite.

Sattlelite will die soon. High speed internet has been the biggest struggle in that happening. It's hard to get high speed internet in some places. But that's changing fast. Starlink has basically changed that.

Will televisions follow suit after that?

I’m sooooooo excited for the age where people walk around the park wearing their headsets, pinching the air with their fingers. Pinnacle of civilization

I thought that about the wireless earbuds. How lazy are we that we can’t even hold a phone up to our ears? Those ppl look stupid with those things sticking out of their ears.
Wireless ear buds make sense because the cord gets in the way. Now people walking around with that shit in their ears is pretty ridiculous to me though. Like you're on the phone so much that you just never take them out.

I wear them when I'm working but I'm listening to podcasts.
