Woodson shut out again.

It is sad when a guy like Gradishar finally gets in. That is likely what Woodson will have to do...wait until his brain is cooked or he is dead.

The thing that bugs me the most is that other safeties got in that he was absolutely better than.

In the logjam of WRs, interesting they selected Andre Johnson over Torry Holt, Reggie Wayne, Steve Smith and Hines Ward. Don’t disagree with it, although I would’ve gone Steve Smith first. But definitely they gave Andre extra credit for being a Texan.

Disappointed, but not surprised Woodson overlooked. Most likely passed over because he was overshadowed on the Cowboys, wasn’t a Sacks or INT specialist, didn’t continue awards into career’s second half, and they’ll say doesn’t have a memorable playoffs performance despite 13 playoff starts. Although, knocking out Rodney Pete starting QB in playoffs with a clean hit was pretty significant. Just frustrating because you keep Woodson out, but in recent years allow Bryant Young and Sam Mills in? With Reed, Polamalu, Dawkins, Atwater, Lynch, Butler, Easley all inducted recently, possibly voters deemed enough safeties for now.

I’m fine with Hester being selected, but specialists shouldn’t take one of the five slots from regular players. When Vinatieri is eligible next year, he’s eventually going to take a slot away, too.

Another factor is that Gronk played for winners and is a media personality. Also, Gates for busted for PEDs.

Compare Gronk’s playoff numbers to Gates.

When players have multiple playoff games spanning several seasons, their playoff stats matter.

Gronkowski (22 starts) - 98 catch for 1389, 15 TDs
Gates (10 starts) - 45 catch for 477, 2 TDs

What y'all worried about? If y'alls wives have Peacock, I goddam know for sure they got Amazon Prime.
This is a real stupid way to think about it. You might have these services, so it doesn't affect you. So you don't care. But don't shit yourself. Once they start doing this, and people don't push back, they'll do it more. And eventually, it will affect you.

No different when the government takes little things away. People don't say anything. Then they keep taking more. And more. Until it's too late. Shit's gone, and it isn't coming back.
