It shouldn't even result in that because switching candidates now should anger the American public.

Anyone with half a brain should come away with the impression that this isn't something new but instead something that the party knew was an issue all along but still chose to be disingenuous with the country over all because they just wanted to win -- they're only having him step down now because they couldn't hide him anymore.

Harris trails in polls even more than Biden does, but it may be lack of recognition of her as a candidate. Give them time to put her in front of the country and we'll see.

I'd rather just see Biden stay in because we know that's a train that's running off the tracks, Harris would be a wildcard.

Not sure how they could give it to anyone else at this point. They love to cheat, but it would be a tall order for them to get the rules changed to accomodate someone like Newsome at this point.

In theory yes, but I think there's probably a sizable portion of Democrats and independents who ethically couldn't vote for Biden and were going to vote for Trump or RFK, but would come back with a viable Democrat candidate.

Funny how he left out the part about being BFFs with KKK Octopus (or whatever goofy title they have) Robert Byrd, or calling Obama a "bright, clean" black guy.

Also, just because he's about done and this has always bugged me... it's gross how he always mentions his son dying. My parents lost a child just a few years ago. It's terrible, it's a shame, we all know that. But how about taking it with some quiet dignity? Constantly dragging it out for sympathy votes is just offensive. But of course, that's what super-slimy 50-year politicians do.
