I watched it, thought Vance did really well. Comes off as a normal dude to me who is willing to admit mistakes and be real. Walli came off like a dork. A dude who can't even admit a simple fuckup on a story that he never lived. I thought his response was very telling, the guy is just as dishonest as Biden was.

In the end it was just tame. Vance didn't want to come off as attacking your sweater wearing grandpa so he focused everything on Harris. Waltz while a dope and dishonest also at times came off as a nice guy just trying to get along with everyone.

In the end, didn't really move the needle. Clearly Vance is an intelligent dude who knows his stuff but he isn't cut throat like Trump. At it was probably intentional in this situation. He could come at Harris hard but it would have been a tough look trying to destroy friendly grandpa.

I did enjoy when Vance called out the moderators bullshit and kept talking anyway despite them wanting to "fact check him" and then move on quickly.
