Well I guess Martin is no longer going to cost like 30 mil against this years cap so that is nice. Between him and Lawrence it was like the cost of one franchise QB.
$13M is like what, three Olawales?
Parsons will hold out for one now. @Genghis KhanWell I guess Martin is no longer going to cost like 30 mil against this years cap so that is nice. Between him and Lawrence it was like the cost of one franchise QB.
4-5.

Parson's has publicly said he doesn't care about the money. Even has gone as far as to say that Dak and Lamb need money first.Parsons will hold out for one now. @Genghis Khan
I'd take him back if we pair him with a quality tandem back who has some muscle.I don't dislike Tony, but I don't even want him back.
(Unless he's super cheap, which he won't be.)
That's the key. Tony is a great #2/complimentary player, but can't handle being a lead back. If we have a true #1 power back to allow Pollard to play the role he's best suited for, he'd be a great asset.I'd take him back if we pair him with a quality tandem back who has some muscle.
I haven't seen this but have actually seen him say that he was going to get his. Granted this was a year or so ago so minds could be changed. When it comes right down to it I'm pretty sure it will matter to him.Parson's has publicly said he doesn't care about the money. Even has gone as far as to say that Dak and Lamb need money first.
Yeah, I think he has a young, naive mentality. It will change over time as his body begins to break down and he starts to think more about his long term future. Or becomes frustrated with the organization and their penny pinching ways in not giving him any help on defense.I haven't seen this but have actually seen him say that he was going to get his. Doesn't even need to be a true #1 back. At least not in the sense that you want to give that guy 20+ carries a game. We just need someone with power that Pollard can split 50-50 with. Keep Pollard fresh and honestly have someone to grind games out late. That's the key. Tony is a great #2/complimentary player, but can't handle being a lead back. We're about 9 under at the moment, if they restructure Dak I think that opens about an additional 18, which puts you at 27. There are a variety of other moves like cutting Gallup or extending Lamb that could open up additional space, but I think a fair assumption is that we'll have about 30 in space.
All hail Goof Son!
Please let them restructure Diggs instead. We're about 9 under at the moment, if they restructure Dak I think that opens about an additional 18, which puts you at 27. Once you factor in the rookie contracts and likely extending a handful of internal FA's you're probably down to about 15, which equates to approximately 5-7 Olawale's.
If we draft intelligently, the line could get better. I would definitely plug Henry in just for the intimidation factor. And unlike other backs like Eddie George, he is far more of a freak and has bit to go before he is washed.People always trying to get old vets one last payday.
It looks like Henry trains like a beast and he certainly looks the part, but the facts are that he is a 30 year old RB who would be running behind a questionable OL in Dallas.
I mean if all things are equal between Pollard and Henry I'll take Henry. Either way I'm drafting a RB to pair him with. Of course we all picture Henry costing a bunch. But my guess is most teams with lots of cap room are going to prefer the younger backs. Guys like Mixon, Barkley and Jacob's. Those are mostly bad teams who have lots of cap and think these RBs could be good for a few more seasons. If we draft intelligently, the line could get better.
