We always have to have what Jerry Jones thinks is the best.

This is what it comes down to and why Dak will in all likelihood be back next season. Jerry's at the stage where he knows he doesn't have a lot of time remaining. He's hinted at it quite often the last couple of years.

It's why I just don't see him signing up for a "throw away" year or two. Jerry's not trying to waste time.
