I think the real issue last night was less the DBs and more not getting enough pressure.
Wino was constantly pressured, but he kept getting rid of the ball to empty spots on the field and the secondary got beat by the WRs every time. Metcalf, Lockett, and even Smith-Hyphen were beating our guys by a half or full step all night.

IMO we stubbornly stuck with man coverage when we could have used a lot more zone. We do that, and Parsons has 2-3 sacks and Wino throws multiple picks.

Nice to see Dak playing so well. I’ve been a big critic, but he’s definitely playing lights out. Also, it was like watching one of Jimmy Johnson’s old teams with the jawing in your face shit last night. One thing I’ve hated about this team was the lack of the Fuck You, In Your Face Bitch attitude. Give it to Turd, he showed some big nuts last night, got up from some big hits to stick his middle finger up.
The run game is going to be an issue I believe in the playoffs. As well as Dak is playing, I’m just not sure you can go on the road and throw the ball 40 times a game and not expect something bad to happen. Pollard isn’t the answer. Dowdle looks good, but they won’t give the guy enough playing time to see what he can really do. Gotta be a Jones decision… McCarthy has always run his RBs with the hot hand. They seem intent on running Pollard no matter what.
I think the D was tired, and they made a couple key stops when they absolutely had to, but damn it was unnerving to see Seattle march up and down the field all night. Geno carved up the secondary pretty embarrassingly, and their fucking rookie roasted our guys a few times. Inexcusable, fatigued or not.
Are we for real? Seriously. Are we? We’ve beaten one team with a winning record, and that team hung 35 on us and we needed a bail out play from Micah to pull it off. A win is a win, but these next games coming up are going to tell us if the playoffs are going to be the same old same old, or a new chapter.
~runs off to take nervous shit~
All these final games, Foreskins aside, will test our defense . Each offense is better than Seattle, so get ready for a fucking wild ride.

The defense was the biggest downer for me last night.

The thing that is odd is that we were supposed to be a defensive team, yet are becoming an offensive team.

Quinn did not exactly come out with the intent to unleash the dogs.

I do not know for certain, but it appeared we had a heavy amount of zone versus man and we got ate up.

So in your thoughts about this game ahead of time , you said it would be close. Was that thinking the offense would struggle while defense kept it close?

How quickly did you anoint Hurts? Just curious.
I didn’t anoint Hurts to anything other than I felt he could play in the NFL. My assessment of Dak is he has a lot to prove as to whether he can bring the Dallas team to a Championship. If and when he does I will be thrilled because I have been a Cowboys fan for as long as they have been a Franchise.

Ask yourself where he went to college and you’ll have your answer.
When you state something I actually said only then I will respond. In the meantime you would do well to wait and see what I actually said about Dak.

I guess this is how trolling is done in Bizarro World?

Adams: "Ha, this will teach him... now everybody knows he has a pretty wife. Take THAT!"
I believe he was insinuating the wife was a cow.

Yet, you did respond.

And it's pretty well established that you'll happily swallow anything Jalen Hurts and Kyler Murray. While downplaying anything to do with Dak Prescott. Too bad Dak didn't go to Oklahoma, I guess.

There were several times in the game where he would revert to his bad habits and allowed the Seattle Club to stay in the game.

Here ya go. Here's something you actually said about Dak. We would all love to hear how you came up with this gem.

They discussed this oh The Players' Lounge today and Danny McCrary said that in 2009 after playing "man coverage" most of the year, they tried switching to zone (in an attempt to increase turnovers), but they just ended up getting shredded. If you don't routinely practice zone coverage, it's easy to screw it up.

In reference to the opening statement that his game with Seattle doesn’t mean he will have the same results as a tougher opponent. When he does that the we can both annoint him as capable of a championship QB.

You seem to get more worked up over former Oklahoma QBs than I do.

That has absolutely nothing to do with what you said and I quoted. Sure, you started off with some weak attempt to still try and throw shade at Dak. It's your thing. We know. But we are talking the here and now. Last night's game. Which you made this comment about, that is in question.

Don't crawfish now, LT. You said it. So own it. Explain to us how several times Dak's bad habits allowed Seattle to stay in the game.

He gets worked up about your dog-like devotion to former Oklahoma players.

And frankly, he ain't wrong.
